The pump room was situated on the terrace of the building.The pump room included four primary pumps and four secondary pumps.\u00a0 A concrete foundation was built for the pumps with no measures taken for vibration isolation. As a result, a lot of vibration was transmitted from the pumps on to the structure of the building. Easyflex was contacted by the client to provide a solution for the same.<\/p>\n\n<p>Therefore, we suggested the use of our Easyflex Brand Closed Spring Viscous Damper which would eliminate the noise and vibrations from the pumps. Detailed engineering calculations were done and a formal engineering report was made as part of the vibration isolator selection process. Our model EFCSD1\/200 x 4 nos. was chosen for each pump as they had four mounting points.
